Laboratory of Molecular Basis of Aging
The Molecular Basis of Aging Group studies the epigenetic mechanisms underlying cellular senescence. By utilizing advanced cell models, we analyze key biomarkers and pathways to identify potential therapeutic targets that may slow down or reverse certain aspects of aging. Our research incorporates nanotechnology to study cellular senescence and to develop innovative strategies for diagnosing and intervening in age-related diseases, including cancer.
- Chromatin regulation in cellular senescence and cancer.
- Stem cell biology, including studies on plasticity, regeneration, and reprogramming.
- Application of nanocarriers in biomedicine
