Laboratory of Advanced Nanostructures
Laboratory of Advanced Nanostructures
The research of our team focuses on the design, synthesis, and characterization of advanced structured systems including organic, polymeric, biopolymeric, and hybrid organic–inorganic materials. We explore their unique properties and potential applications across various fields. Our interdisciplinary strategy merges materials science, chemistry, physics, and nanotechnology. This integration enables us to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions with practical and scalable impact
Research topics:
- Ionic Liquids as versatile components in the design of functional materials; their unique physicochemical properties make them excellent media for synthesis, separation, and environmental remediation
- Hybrid nanostructures that enable the creation of multifunctional materials with tuneable properties on the nano- and microscale
- Natural and bio-derived polymers as sustainable building blocks for advanced material system employed in environmental technologies
- Scaffolds for metamaterials by controlling spatial structure and material composition with new properties, opening pathways for advanced functional applications.
