Book was prepared by the employees of the NanoBioMedical Center at the Adam Mickiewicz University to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Poznań University foundation.

Professor Stefan Jurga was awarded with the Homini Vere Academico Medal. The distinction was given by the Rector of Adam Mickiewicz University, prof. Andrzej Lesicki on Monday, November 19.

On November 8th, as part of the 5th Days of Kiel in the NanoBioMedical Center, Joint Symposium on Nanomaterials and Their Application in Materials Science and Biomedicine took place.

On 29.10.2018 at 13:00 in the main hall of the Centre, a tasting of Chinese dishes took place.

On 02.10.2018 Professor Robert Gale, an outstanding specialist in the field of leukemia, currently working as a visiting professor at the Haematology Research Center, Division of Experimental Medicine, Department of Medicine, Imperial College London, visited us. In the company of Professor Grzegorz Przybylski from the Institute of Human Genetics of the Polish Academy of Sciences, became acquainted with opportunities and achievements of our Center.

During this year's Researchers Night, falling on September 28, employees of the NanoBioMedical Center: Dr Patryk Florczak, mgr Jagoda Litowczenko-Cybulska, Dr Roksana Markiewicz, Dr Barbara Maciejewska and Dr Alicja Warowicka presented an interactive lecture entitled "Coal and its hidden faces" combined with demonstrations of experiments.

On wednesday, 19 september at 12:00 AM in the NBMC lecture room, will the guest seminar with participation of Dr. Janusz Hankiewicz from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs take place.

In the period 06.06.2018 – 20.07.2018, we hosted in NanoBioMedical Centre Prof. Richard Spontak from Departments of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering and Materials Science & Engineering, North Carolina State University, Raleigh, USA, who as a plenary guest gave a lecture entitled Functional Thermoplastic Elastomers: A Route to Designer Soft NanoMaterials at the Nano Tech Poland Conference 2018.
