The aim of the project is to develop Lyotropic Liquid Crystalline Nanoparticles (LLC NPs) of complex, bicontinuous cubic structure based on lipids, so called cubosomes, and exploit their potential in the biomedicine especially for optical and magnetic resonance imaging. The selected candidate will join multidisciplinary team consisting of biologists, chemists and physicists. All experiments will be conducted using highly advanced scientific techniques like liquid cell Transmission Electron Microscopy, cryoTEM or Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Spectroscopy.
