The lecture presents, among others, the concept of nanotechnology, the relationship between carbon and physics, chemistry and biology, the short history of carbon nanomaterials, methods for their preparation and application, as well as the interaction of carbon systems with cells of living organisms. The lecture took place at the Faculty of Physics in the Auditorium Maximum named after Professor Franciszek Kaczmarek.
